I am a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. While the Tribe is originally from the Great Lakes Region, they are now headquartered in Shawnee, Oklahoma after being forcefully removed from its homeland. I am a native Californian.
I am indigenous on my father's side. He never practiced indigenous ways and, as a consequence, I never learned them. My mother was born and raised in Germany and came over as a war bride after WWII. She and my father met while he was stationed in Germany during the war. I closely identified with my German heritage growing up, and I still do; however, I am learning more about my indigenous heritage through my Tribe and indigenous friends.
My products are made with good intentions. Native Americans believe that any negative feelings you have when creating something go into the finished product. If a project isn't going well, I set it aside for later.
My current collection includes various styles of bracelets and earrings. I will be including leatherwork and, hopefully hat bands, in time.
Regarding taxes and shipping. I am a one woman show, and I can only bead so fast! Currently, my products include tax and shipping in the contiguous USA. If you are outside this area, please ask for a quote. I have a resource that will find the least expensive shipping for your address.
